If you have not heard, my directorial debut is going to be premiering at deadCenter Film Festival this year.

It’s called “Black Canyon’s Crossroads for the Restless.”

If you are free at 6 p.m. on Friday, June 10 then I’d love to see your face there.

A group of my dear friends helped me to tell the story of the Okie folk band Black Canyon.

The band tells a Civil War love story in seven songs in seven different spots in Enid.

My favorite part of this experience so far is getting to use a laurel, which is that frilly looking plant thing that you see in movie trailers.

I want a tattoo of it.
